Job summary

TS Law Group is seeking a Clerk of Work to oversee site inspections and quality control across multiple construction stages in Malaysia. You will ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and Building Codes while coordinating with contractors and authorities.

The role includes supervising testing, preparing progress reports, and managing defects during the DLP, with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance on-site.

Responsibilities

• Site Inspection & Quality Control: Inspect all site works at various stages for compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and Building Codes.
• Testing & Commissioning: Supervise material tests and on-site testing for structural integrity (C&S) or architecture finishes.
• Documentation & Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, or monthly progress reports and maintain accurate records of site activities, resource usage, and site diaries.
• Coordination & Communication: Liaise with authorities contractors, sub-contractors, and consultants to resolve technical issues.
• Defect Management: Identify, report, and monitor the rectification of defects during construction and the defects liability period (DLP).
• Safety Compliance: Monitor site safety, occupational health, and environmental compliance, reporting hazards immediately.
