Job summary

Dekad Jitu Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee daily on-site activities at Bandar Putra Kulai, Johor. In this full-time role you will manage construction teams, monitor safety, schedule work, and coordinate with project managers to keep projects on time and within budget.

You should have at least 1 year in construction supervision, strong leadership, English and Bahasa Malaysia communication, a driving license, and relevant safety certifications such as CIDB Green Card

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in construction supervision or a similar supervisory role.
• Proficiency in site management software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Valid Malaysian driving license and willingness to travel to various project sites as required.
• CIDB registration (Green Card), OSHA certification or other construction safety certifications are desirable.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Proficient in reading construction drawings and specifications.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Site Supervisor to join Dekad Jitu Sdn Bhd on a full-time basis. Based in Bandar Putra Kulai, Johor, this is a pivotal position within our construction operations where you will oversee daily site activities, manage teams, and ensure projects are completed safely, on time and within budget. As Site Supervisor, you will play a critical role in maintaining our high standards of quality and safety across all construction operations, directly contributing to the success of our business and reputation in the industry.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate construction teams on-site, ensuring all workers adhere to safety protocols and company standards
• Monitoring progress of roadworks construction and daily site activities
• Manage inventory and coordination of materials, equipment and resources required for construction activities
• Liaise with project managers, clients and contractors to communicate progress updates and address any issues or concerns
• Inspect work quality regularly to ensure compliance with design specifications and building standards
• Maintain detailed site records, including daily reports, work logs, safety incidents and progress documentation
• Identify and mitigate risks on site, implementing corrective measures to prevent accidents or delays
• Supervising subcontractor's work (progress, material, machinery, manpower)
• Preparing site daily report and other appropriate documentations
• Arranging and organizing workers and subcontractor's daily works
• Collaborate with relevant team to ensure all works are properly executed
• Reporting to superior on any discrepancies/potential delays of work

What we're looking for

• Minimum 1 year of experience in construction supervision or a similar supervisory role in the construction industry
• Proven track record of successfully managing construction teams and delivering projects on schedule and within budget
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams effectively
• Proficiency in site management software and Microsoft Office applications
• Valid Malaysian driving license and willingness to travel to various project sites as required
• Relevant qualifications such as CIDB registration (Green Card) , OSHA certification or other construction safety certifications are highly desirable
• Ability to communicate clearly in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Strong commitment to health and safety standards and environmental responsibility
• Proficient in reading construction drawings and specifications
• Familiar with construction methods, materials and machinery
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or construction software is a plus
