Job description

Responsibilities:

• Handle the complete accounting process, prepare cash flow projections and provide detailed management reports on financial performance.
• Responsible for the management of accounts receivable and accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
• Oversee daily collections, treasury functions, and banking activities to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Manage petty cash and ensure that employee claims are processed correctly and in a timely manner.
• Monitor inventory levels and manage the sales order process, handle purchasing functions and ensure that spending aligns with the approved budget.
• Assist in any ad-hoc tasks or duties as assigned by management, including special projects or process improvements.

Requirements:

• A Degree in Accountancy or a Professional Accountancy Qualification is required.
• At least 2-3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the hospitality industry (fresh graduates are also welcome to apply).
• Knowledge of SST (Sales and Service Tax), accounting software like Cloudbeds (preferred), and SQL Financial Accounting systems.
• Proficient in using accounting tools and being computer literate.
• Strong analytical skills to assess and manage financial data effectively.
• Ability to multi-task, stay committed to deadlines, and take initiative in learning new skills.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• A good command of English, Mandarin, and Malay, both written and spoken.
