RMC Digital Solutions (KL) Sdn Bhd is hiring a Junior Accountant to join our Kuala Lumpur finance team on a full-time basis. The role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the broader finance function across the organisation.

The ideal candidate holds a relevant accounting/finance qualification, with strong numerical and analytical skills, and familiarity with Malaysian accounting standards and taxes.

• Familiarity with Malaysian accounting standards and tax regulations is beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Record and process daily financial transactions including accounts payable/receivable and GL entries.
• Prepare and reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Verify invoices and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain organized financial records in line with policies and standards.
• Assist with internal and external audit activities and provide supporting documents.
• Perform data entry and spreadsheet tasks to support reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve accounting queries and discrepancies.

About the role RMC Digital Solutions (KL) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Junior Accountant to join our growing Finance team in Kuala Lumpur on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional to develop their financial accounting and reporting expertise within a dynamic and supportive environment. You will play an important role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records whilst supporting the broader finance function across the organisation.

What you'll be doing In this role, you will be responsible for a range of core accounting activities that are essential to our financial operations:

Recording and processing daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries

Preparing and reconciling bank statements, suspense accounts and other balance sheet accounts on a regular basis

Assisting with the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports

Supporting the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations

Verifying invoices, receipts and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness

Maintaining organised and accurate financial records in accordance with company policies and accounting standards

Assisting with internal and external audit activities, including provision of supporting documentation

Performing data entry and spreadsheet management tasks to support financial reporting requirements

Collaborating with team members and other departments to resolve accounting queries and discrepancies

What we're looking for To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills, qualifications and experience:

A relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, such as a Diploma or Bachelor's degree

Basic to intermediate knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software packages; experience with Autocount, QuickBook and Xero is required.

Strong numerical and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail

Excellent organisational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively

Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

A professional and ethical approach to handling confidential financial information

Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure during busy accounting periods

Preferably, some previous experience in an accounting role or relevant internship experience

Familiarity with Malaysian accounting standards and tax regulations is beneficial
