We are seeking an experienced Accountant to manage full sets of accounts for SME clients, prepare monthly/quarterly management accounts and financial statements, and ensure Malaysian statutory and tax compliance.

The role involves liaising with clients and auditors, year-end closing, tax preparation, e-Invoicing, and reviewing junior accountants’ work. Mandarin proficiency is preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting firm.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian tax and statutory requirements.
• Experience with SQL and AutoCount; e-Invoicing experience is a plus.

Handle full set of accounts for SME clients

Perform outsource accounting at client's office.

Prepare monthly/quarterly management accounts and financial statements

Ensure compliance with MFRS, Companies Act 2016, and LHDN requirements

Prepare and review SST, corporate tax computation, and deferred tax (if applicable)

Liaise with clients, auditors, tax agents, and company secretaries

Assist in year-end closing and audit schedules preparation

Review work prepared by junior accountants and provide guidance

Monitor deadlines and ensure timely submission of reports and tax filings

Identify and resolve accounting issues for clients

Support process improvements and digital accounting systems (e.g. SQL, AutoCount)

Handle e-Invoicing implementation and compliance (if applicable)

Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned by management

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent

Professional qualification (ACCA/CPA/MICPA) is an advantage

Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting firm

Strong knowledge of Malaysian tax and statutory requirements

Experience handling multiple clients and tight deadlines

Familiar with accounting software (SQL, AutoCount)

Mandarin proficiency is preferred for dealing with Mandarin-speaking clients.
