Job summary

ID Centric Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Accountant to join our Finance team. This full-time role handles financial transactions, prepares statements, and ensures compliance with accounting standards to provide reliable financial information to stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has a diploma or degree in Accountancy, with 2–3 years of experience, proficiency in Excel and accounting software, and knowledge of GST/SST regulations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Accountancy/Finance or related field.
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA/ICAEW/AICPA or local equivalent (CPA Malaysia preferred).
• 2–3 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting.
• Strong proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
• Solid understanding of Financial Accounting Standards and compliance requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong numerical accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of tax regulations and GST/SST compliance is advantageous.
• Professional integrity and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Recording and processing financial transactions in accordance with GAAP.

ID Centric Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented Accountant to join our Finance team in Kuala Lumpur. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity and accuracy of our organisation. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This role is essential to supporting our business operations and providing reliable financial information to stakeholders.

What you'll be doing

Recording and processing financial transactions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles

Preparing and maintaining general ledger accounts and reconciliations

Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements

Performing bank reconciliations and account verifications

Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions

Assisting with the preparation of tax returns and ensuring compliance with tax regulations

Conducting routine audits of financial records to identify discrepancies

Supporting the finance team with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting

Maintaining accurate and organised financial documentation and filing systems

Collaborating with other departments to resolve financial queries and issues

What we’re looking for

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related field
