Job summary

Global Amity Sdn Bhd is seeking a meticulous automotive service professional to act as the primary liaison between technicians and management. The role requires following Honda Global Amity processes, maintaining professional conduct, and ensuring timely completion of tasks.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate documentation, effective communication, and adherence to guidelines, with readiness to work overtime when required by management.

Qualifications

Minimum SKM Certificate Level 3 in Automotive or equivalent. A Diploma in Automotive is an added advantage.
Minimum 2 years of working experience in the automotive industry.
Possess basic reading and writing skills in English and Malay.
Possess basic computer skills.
Possess a valid Class D driving license.

Responsibilities

Act in Global Amity's best interests and comply with Honda Global Amity processes, policies, and documentation requirements.
Stay updated with process changes and adjust behaviours accordingly.
Maintain courteous and professional conduct and a clean appearance.
Ensure effective open communications with peers, subordinates, and superiors for feedback and improvements.
Perform other duties reasonably requested by Management and guide direct reports to follow guidelines.
Be punctual and complete training assignments diligently and be prepared for extra time as needed.
Be the primary interface between technicians and management, ensuring timely information flow.

General Scope

To be the primary SA interface between Technician at all times and keeping them well informed and building a strong professional relationship.

Job Functions

Communicate with the technical staff to understand the technical issue/diagnosis and recommended corrective actions
Communicate with the technical team to monitor progress to ensure the job is completed on time and returned to the customer when promised
If additional time is required to complete to communicate Service Advisor and keep them updated with any developments or issues.
To make sure the vehicle is NEVER returned to the customer before the appropriate Quality checking has been done (either the Service Manager or alternative technical staff approved by the Service Manager)
Responsible for ensuring smooth flow of jobs by using the work control chart 1 day before the appointment date.
To distribute all jobs following the technician skills and capacity.
To monitor all technician attendance every day to ensure full manpower.
To ensure all jobs are recorded in DBM Time Recording and to prepare a carry-over job list for monitoring.

Job Requirements
