Job description

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a courteous and friendly manner when they come for servicing and other repairs, directing them to an available technician.
• Display extensive knowledge about products and servicing of lorries, informing customers about potential cost savings and warranty protections.
• Maintain good relationships with customers to ensure repeat servicing and repairs of vehicles, advising customers on queries and consulting with technicians when necessary.
• Call customers to get feedback after 3 days of service, recording any defects found in the exercise book for review with the workshop manager.
• Prepare estimated quotations before service and repair works, obtaining customer approval to avoid disputes over cost.
• Ensure customer vehicle’s service and repair are completed on time as per job order.
• Follow up and liaise with workshop technicians on the status of service and repair to update customers.
• Ensure all work is completed as per job order/card, notifying the customer of the amount to be paid to the company and when their vehicle is ready for pick‑up.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate superior.

Requirements

• Certification from a vocational school is preferred; a minimum diploma in automotive engineering fields is acceptable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
• Starting salary based on experience.
