Job summary

Fokus Group of Companies in Shah Alam (Setia Alam) is seeking automotive technicians to perform preventive, service, and repair work per Repair Order instructions within flat-rate times and to diagnose mechanical and electronic problems using standard rectification methods. You will assist in maintaining workshop tools, promote safety on the shop floor, and coach new technicians to Toyota standards.

Immediate start is required; strong English and Bahasa Malaysia are expected, with MS Office

Qualifications

• Strong diagnostic technical knowledge on automotive systems.
• Good customer handling and communication skills.
• Able to work in a team with a compassionate and patient attitude.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, service, repairs and replacement as per Repair Order instructions within the flat-rate time.
• Diagnose mechanical and electronic problems and apply rectification techniques.
• Assist in maintaining workshop tools and equipment, and promote safety and cleanliness on the shop floor.
• Coach and train new technicians to Toyota standards.

Job description

To perform efficient preventive / service / repairs and replacement as per Repair Order instruction and within the flat rate time without that does not need rework.

To perform major repair's such engine, transmission overhaul, chassis and electrical engine management system related repairs.

To diagnose mechanical and electronic problems by applying rectification skill and fault finding techniques.

To assist in the maintenance of the service shop tools and equipment.

To promote and maintain workshop safety and cleanliness by supervising the entire shop floor activities including equipment and tool maintenance.

To assist the ESH team in ensuring the smooth disposal and elimination od waste generated by the service centre.

To carry out any additional task assigned by immediate superior with full cooperation.

To coach and train new technician and guide them to Toyota Standard.

To participate in 5S activity, Safety Activity, Kaizen activity conduct by management outlet.

Requirements:

Minimum Professional Certificate (e.g SKM Level 1, 2 or 3) or relevant qualification.

Strong diagnostic technical knowledge on automotive and customer handling skills.

Soft skills: Strong teamwork skills, compassionate and patient attitude.

Good command in both written and spoken in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Computer literate and proficiency in MS Office applications.
