Job summary

Evo Wheelstech Sdn Bhd in Shah Alam seeks an automotive service technician to repair and service vehicles to manufacturer standards, diagnose faults, and perform quality checks to uphold Nissan brand image. You will follow safety rules, maintain tools, and ensure accuracy in service delivery.

You will participate in CSI initiatives, keep the workshop tidy, and assist with cross-selling petroleum products and services as required. Experience is preferred and a valid driving license is required.

Qualifications

• Educated and/or certified: Higher Secondary, SKM Level 1/2/3.
• Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
• Preferably specializing in Engineering – Mechanical / Automotive or equivalent.
• Valid driving license.
• At least 1 year of working experience in the related field.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repair and service of vehicles according to standards.
• Diagnose and detect mechanical faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Ensure repairs are completed within promised time; inform if delays occur.
• Order parts to ensure timely completion and customer delivery.
• Perform quality checks to reflect Nissan brand image.
• Maintain workshop cleanliness and 5S practices.
• Comply with ASDOS and safety standards, dispose of hazardous materials properly.
• Participate in CSI improvement activities.
• Undertake ad hoc duties and cross-sell group petroleum products and services.

Job description

Carry out repair and service of vehicles according to recommended repair and service standards as mentioned in Service Manuals or standards set up by Nationwide Service Division and the Training Center.

Diagnose and detect mechanical faults with vehicles using diagnostic equipment.

Ensure repair and service jobs are performed within time frame (promise time) indicated in Repair

Order (RO) to ensure timely completion of repairs and delivery to customer and if delay should inform Service Advisor (SA) in advance for promise time revision with customers.

Perform quality control check on vehicles to ensure service quality reflecting Nissan brand image.

Ensure comeback of vehicles to the minimum levels.

Ensure proper care of customer vehicles and belongings.

Proper usage and responsible for safekeeping of designated individual tools as provided.

Comply with 5S practice, maintain cleanliness and tidiness of workshop bay and individual tools cabinet at all times.

Comply with After-Sales Dealership Operation Standards (ASDOS) requirement.

Comply with all workshop safety standards for protections against accidents, hazardous fluid etc., including performing regular hoist inspection as per requirements and proper disposal of hazardous materials as per guidelines provided by Environmental Health and Safety (EHS).

Participate in Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) improvement activities.

Undertake other ad hoc duties as assigned.

To execute cross selling of group products especially on petroleum products and services.

Required Skills:

Qualification:

Valid driving license.

At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field (Preffered)
