Job summary

Sports Direct Malaysia is seeking an IT Workshop Technician to join the growing team. The role focuses on repair, maintenance, and asset tracking of IT systems across stores and offices, with responsibilities for Cisco networking configurations and EPOS equipment.

The ideal candidate has a strong computing interest, excellent organization, and at least 2 years in IT hardware maintenance or IT support, with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Repairing, maintenance, and asset tracking of IT systems (desktops, laptops, EPOS, printers, handheld scanners).
• Manage configuration of Cisco networking equipment, EPOS till systems, handheld devices, and printers.
• Process returns and recycling equipment.
• Ensure accurate stock inventory and asset management.
• Use Zendesk to manage workload and respond to requests.
• Coordinate hardware for store rollouts and acquisitions.

Job Description

• Repairing, maintenance, and asset tracking of a variety of IT systems, including desktop computers, laptops, tablet hardware, printers, EPOS terminals, and handheld scanners.
• Managing the configuration of Cisco networking equipment, EPOS Till systems, handheld devices, and printers.
• Processing of returns and recycling equipment.
• Ensuring accurate stock inventory and asset management.
• Utilizing Zendesk to manage workload/tickets and responding to phone requests.
• Coordinating hardware for store rollouts and acquisitions.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Extensive experience with IT hardware.

• Relevant certifications will be an advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
