Job summary

Sports Direct Malaysia is seeking an IT Workshop Technician to join our expanding IT team across retail stores and our e-commerce platform. You will repair, maintain and track IT hardware, configure Cisco networking gear, EPOS systems and printers, and support store rollouts.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of IT hardware maintenance or IT support experience, strong teamwork, and excellent communication. Certifications are a plus. This is an on-site role based in Subang Jaya, Selangor.

Qualifications

• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Extensive experience with IT hardware.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in an IT hardware maintenance/ IT support role.
• Relevant certifications will be an advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Repairing, maintenance, and asset tracking of a variety of IT systems, including desktop computers, laptops, tablet hardware, printers, EPOS terminals, and handheld scanners.
• Managing the configuration of Cisco networking equipment, EPOS Till systems, handheld devices, and printers.
• Processing of returns and recycling equipment.
• Ensuring accurate stock inventory and asset management.
• Utilizing Zendesk to manage workload/tickets and responding to phone requests.
• Coordinating hardware for store rollouts and acquisitions.
