Job summary

Kum Fatt Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking an IT Technician to provide first-line support for our corporate office and branch networks. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and secure daily IT operations across hardware, software, and access management.

Responsibilities include provisioning devices, managing AD/Entra ID and MS 365, patching systems, and coordinating with the network team for connectivity and security. Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of hands-on IT support in a corporate setting.
• Solid troubleshooting for Windows 10/11 and macOS.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and security agents.
• Knowledge of basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs).
• Familiar with IT ticketing systems and remote tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for internal IT support tickets.
• Set up and deploy new workstations, laptops, IP phones, and mobile devices.
• Manage user accounts and access via AD/Entra ID and MS 365.
• Install OS updates, patching, and security agent maintenance.
• Maintain hardware/software asset inventory and assist audits.
• Troubleshoot peripherals and coordinate repairs as needed.
• Monitor LAN/Wi‑Fi and internet connectivity for operations.
• Assist with basic network gear maintenance under supervision.
• Support backups and disaster recovery testing.
