Job summary

Handal Indah Sdn Bhd, a leading bus operator in Malaysia, seeks an IT Support Engineer to deliver multi-site support for hardware, software, network and accounts. You will manage user accounts in M365/Entra ID, monitor LAN/Wi‑Fi/VPN and support core business apps across sites.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in IT support, strong Windows/M365/AD knowledge, basic networking, and familiarity with firewalls, backups and cloud platforms. Ability to work across depots and offices is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in IT/CS/Engineering or related field.
• At least 2 years in IT support, helpdesk or desktop/network support.
• Good working knowledge of Windows 10/11, M365, AD and basic networking.
• Experience in multi-site environment, transport/logistics or operations-heavy industry preferred.
• Exposure to firewalls, backup solutions or cloud platforms.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware, printers and mobile devices.
• Familiarity with Jira Service Management and OS Ticketing.
• Basic understanding of cyber security practices, including endpoint protection.

Responsibilities

• Provide first- and second-level support for hardware, software, network and account issues via helpdesk, phone, remote and on-site.
• Log, prioritise and resolve tickets within SLAs; escalate complex issues.
• Set up and deploy laptops/desktops/printers/mobile devices for new joiners; handle offboarding and asset recovery.
• Support staff at depots and terminals, including operational systems.
• Administer user accounts, groups, permissions and licences in Microsoft 365 and Active Directory/Entra ID.
• Monitor and troubleshoot LAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN, firewalls and internet links across sites.
• Carry out routine maintenance, patching and backup checks on servers/endpoints/network equipment.
• Support ERP/CMMS/contract management systems with owners/vendors.
• Apply endpoint protection, email security and access-control policies.
• Maintain accurate inventory of IT hardware, software and licences.
