Job summary

CTRM AeroSystems Sdn. Bhd. in Shah Alam seeks an IT support technician with a Diploma in IT/CS/Engineering and at least 1 year of experience. The role covers hardware/software issues, Windows/M365, network troubleshooting and after-hours support when required.

You will install, configure and maintain computers, servers, CCTV and related IT systems, with travel as needed and a focus on reliable incident resolution and documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma in IT/CS/Computer/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of IT support experience. Fresh graduates with relevant industrial training may be considered.
• Basic knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, computer hardware, software and network troubleshooting.
• Basic knowledge of servers, CCTV, telephony, access door systems and IT security.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills. Willing to travel and provide after-hours support when required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot hardware, software, Microsoft 365 and user account issues.
• Install, configure and maintain computers, printers and software.
• Install and troubleshoot LAN/WLAN, switches, access points and cabling.
• Assist in maintaining servers, backup systems and performing preventive maintenance.
• Perform system patching, antivirus updates and basic security checks.
• Maintain and troubleshoot CCTV, telephony, access door systems and other IT equipment.
• Maintain IT asset records, software licenses and technical documentation.
• Prepare weekly reports, support improvement initiatives and perform other assigned duties.
