Job summary

Popular Book Co. (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an IT Support specialist to keep NAV, PDA, network and server systems running smoothly in our Kuala Lumpur office.

Responsibilities include ensuring data synchronization between HQ and outlets, delivering helpdesk support for POS and IT devices, and logging and resolving support cases. You will also assist with IT support during retail events and fairs.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in IT/CS or related field.
• Positive attitude and eager to learn.
• Fundamental knowledge in IT infrastructure.

• Ensure completeness of data synchronization between systems. (eg. HQ and outlets’ POS and store)

• Maintain and log all support cases. Follow up with users, provide feedback and see problems through to resolution.
• Provide IT related support to retail events (eg. expo/atrium fair, Bookfest, Annual Order)

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent.
