Job summary

Fenzy Industrial Supplies Sdn Bhd is seeking an IT support specialist to provide technical assistance for hardware, software, and network issues. You will install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other IT equipment, ensuring smooth operations across the organisation.

You will troubleshoot system errors, connectivity issues, and application problems; assist with data backups, security, and disaster recovery planning, and support new user setup with appropriate access

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science or related field.
• Knowledge of computer hardware and operating systems (Windows, macOS).
• Basic networking and network troubleshooting skills.
• Strong problem-solving and systematic issue resolution.

Job description

Provide technical support to users for hardware, software and network issue.

Install, configure, and maintain computer system, printers and other IT equipment.

Troubleshoot system errors, connectivity issue, and application problems.

Perform regular system maintenance, updates, backups and preventive maintenance.

Respond to and document IT support requests, maintaining accurate records of issues and resolutions.

Monitor IT systems and ensure security, date integrity, and performance.

Assist with data backup and disaster recovery procedures to protect company information

Assist in setting up new users, email accounts and access permission required.

Maintain compliance with IT security policies and procedures across the organisation

What we're looking for

Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.

Knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS), and common software applications

Basic networking and network troubleshooting skills.

Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues systematically

Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to users

Patience, professionalism, and a customer-service-oriented approach
