Job summary

YFS Corporate (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a 1st level IT support specialist in Kulai, Johor. You will assist HQ and outlets with hardware and software issues, perform installations and configurations, and troubleshoot IT systems to keep operations running smoothly.

The role involves on-site support, on-call responsibilities, and contributing to ongoing IT improvements. A Professional Certificate or Diploma in IT is required, with opportunities for personal development and weekend support if needed.

Qualifications

• Professional Certificate or Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent.
• Able to work independently.
• Willing to work weekends if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st level POS and IT hardware/software support to HQ/outlet users.
• Install, configure, update, and troubleshoot computer hardware, software and peripherals.
• Maintain and support information systems including PC hardware, OS, server backups, CCTV, IP phones, antivirus, email, firewall, networking and databases.
• Assist with researching and testing new hardware/software for executives.
• Provide feedback to superiors to improve workflows.
• On-call to attend IT issues after hours.
• Maintain good housekeeping for IT hardware and utilization.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job description

To provide 1st level POS and IT hardware/ software support to HQ/ outlet users

Install, Configuration, updating, troubleshooting for the computer hardware, software and any other peripheral equipment issues

Maintain and provide ongoing support for the information system: PC hardware, operation system, server backup, CCTV, IP Phone, antivirus, email, firewall, networking and database to ensure systems are operating efficiently

Learn and assist with researching, testing, evaluation new hardware and software for executive management

Constantly providing constructive feedback to superiors when identifying issues with the objective to improve or enhance existing workflows

To standby and on call to attend IT technical issue after user and internal staff

To maintain good housekeeping for all IT hardware and utilization

Other responsibilities as assigned by superior from time to time

Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate or Diploma or equivalent in Information Technology

Able to work independently

Able to work independently

Support on Saturday and Sunday if necessary
