Job summary

SITC Container Lines Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking an IT Support professional to provide daily helpdesk services for computers, printers, network, email, software, and other IT equipment in Penang. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues and set up user accounts and access for employees.

Collaboration with HQ IT and external vendors is required to maintain systems and implement upgrades. Fresh graduates are welcome, with Mandarin and English/Bahasa Malaysia proficiency.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Mandarin proficiency is required due to coordination with HQ IT team in China.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily IT support for computers, printers, network, email, software and other IT equipment.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, system and connectivity issues.
• Set up user accounts, system access and IT equipment for employees.
• Coordinate with HQ IT and external vendors for technical issues and system maintenance.
• Maintain IT equipment and system records.
• Provide system and technical support for Operations & Logistics, Export, Import, and Finance departments.
• Assist in resolving operational system issues and training on system upgrades.
• Understand operational workflows and help streamline processes through IT systems and digital tools.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual work and improve work efficiency.
• Provide operational support to departments when required.
• Assist with coordination and escalation of technical or operational issues.
