Solarvest Holdings Bhd. is hiring an entry-level IT Support Officer for the Petaling Jaya branch. You will be the first point of contact for day-to-day IT matters, enabling internal teams to work smoothly in a hands‑on environment.

This on-site role is ideal for fresh graduates eager to grow, with responsibilities spanning hardware/software troubleshooting, setup, identity management, and basic network support.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; no prior working experience required.
• Foundational understanding of computer hardware, Windows OS, and basic networking concepts.
• Good communication skills with a service‑oriented mindset and the ability to assist non‑technical users.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line IT support to internal staff and troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues promptly.
• Assist in setup, configuration, and deployment of computers, printers, and peripherals for new and existing employees.
• Support installation and basic administration of business applications including Microsoft 365 and assist users with day‑to‑day queries.
• Manage user accounts and access rights, including provisioning, modification, and deactivation across internal systems.
• Maintain and update the IT asset and inventory register, ensuring equipment is tracked and documented.
• Monitor and support basic network and infrastructure operations, escalate issues when needed.
• Assist in maintenance and troubleshooting of CCTV and door access control systems.
• Log, track, and follow up IT support tickets to ensure timely resolution or escalation.

We are looking for a dependable and enthusiastic IT Support Officer to join our IT team at our Petaling Jaya branch. This is an entry-level role ideal for a fresh graduate eager to grow in a hands-on environment. You will be the first point of contact for day-to-day IT matters, ensuring our internal teams can work smoothly and efficiently.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide first-line IT support to internal staff, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues in a timely manner.
• Assist in the setup, configuration, and deployment of computers, printers, and peripheral devices for new and existing employees.
• Support the installation and basic administration of business applications including Microsoft 365 and assist users with day-to-day operational queries.
• Assist in managing user accounts and access rights, including provisioning, modification, and deactivation across internal systems.
• Maintain and update the IT asset and inventory register, ensuring all equipment is accurately tracked and documented.
• Assist in monitoring and supporting basic network and infrastructure operations, escalating issues to the relevant team when required.
• Support the maintenance and basic troubleshooting of ancillary systems such as CCTV and door access control systems.
• Log, track, and follow up on IT support tickets, ensuring issues are resolved or appropriately escalated within agreed timeframes.

ADDED ADVANTAGE

• Familiarity or exposure to enterprise business systems such as CRM, ERP, or PMIS platforms.
• Basic experience with Microsoft 365 administration (user management, SharePoint, Teams).
• Prior exposure to physical security systems such as CCTV or door access control management.
• Any relevant IT certification (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Fundamentals) is a bonus, not a requirement.
