Job summary

D TECH DIGITAL SDN BHD is seeking an IT Support Engineer in Kuala Lumpur to study, monitor, and update in-house software applications and to manage VPN accounts across multiple sites. You will set up software/hardware for new sites and ensure daily site information remains current.

The role requires English and Bahasa Malaysia proficiency, a diploma in CS/IT, and preferably 1+ year of relevant experience; fresh graduates are welcome. Weekend shifts and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• At least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent.
• English and Bahasa Malaysia are required.
• Candidates with at least 1 year of relevant experience are preferred; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• To study, monitor, and update in-house software application if necessary.
• To monitor and manage sites’ VPN accounts and transaction batch files.
• To set up and configure software and hardware for new sites (Cashless Parking Management Systems).
• To ensure smooth operation for all sites, and site information is up-to-date on a daily basis.
• To provide support for in-house application system and troubleshooting of application system problems.
• To support and liaise with e-wallet service providers’ backend team and technical team during ORT, ensure the process is smooth, to report to superior, and resolve the issue if any.
• To respond and resolve sites related matters, remotely within the expected timeframe.
• Software/hardware/network/LAN maintenance and daily troubleshooting.
• To conduct basic operational training for project sites upon request.
• To maintain IT related documents/files in a proper manner.
• To report and liaise with Head Programmer for core programme issue if any.
• To support new research and development projects
• Coordination of managing IT related matters for new projects.
• Prepare clear reports, follow up diligently, and provide timely updates to superiors.

Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.

Candidates with at least 1 year of relevant working experience are preferred, while fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.

Preferably Junior Executive specialized in IT/Computer - Software or equivalent.

Weekend Shift may require if any urgent cases only

Travel may be required for training or other project related duties.
