The role requires a bachelor's degree in IT or related fields, 2–3 years ICT/IT support experience, and willingness to travel to project sites. Strong troubleshooting, communication, and liaison with vendors are essential.

• Explore and implement AI tools to improve business operations.
• Complete tasks assigned by Senior IT Administrator.

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and technically capable IT Executive to join our Information Technology team. The ideal candidate will have good knowledge and understanding of end-user support, IT infrastructure, network systems, security, and IT equipment. This role requires a proactive individual who is able to troubleshoot technical issues, support project sites, coordinate with third-party service providers, and ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations across the group of companies.

Responsibilities

Providing end-user technical support for all employees for (group of) companies in relations to IT.

Maintaining and managing IT related infrastructure including (but not exclusive to) hardware, software, printers, copiers, attendance/security system, telephony and related equipment.

Administering, developing and implementing IT infrastructure related works including (but not exclusive to) servers, network connectivity, firewall appliances, security systems and disaster recovery.

Report and perform routine security monitoring on critical systems.

Sourcing and procuring of equipment, systems or software in relations to IT or other departments where related.

Providing necessary consultation and assistance for project sites in relations to IT matters.

Providing liaison with third party solution providers to resolve requirements or issues in relations to IT matters.

Explore and utilize AI tools and technologies to improve business operations

Complete all tasks assigned by the Senior IT Administrator.

Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, ICT or equivalent.

Candidates with 2-3 years of working experience in ICT, IT Support, Infrastructure, Network Administration, or related fields will have an added advantage.

Good knowledge of IT infrastructure, hardware, software, networking, and end-user technical support.

Familiar with servers, network connectivity, firewall, security systems, and disaster recovery concepts.

Knowledge of IT security monitoring and system administration will be an added advantage.

Good troubleshooting, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and provide timely technical support.

Able to liaise effectively with internal users, project teams, vendors, and third-party service providers.

Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia;Mandarin will be an advantage.

Knowledge and understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and technologies

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Willing to provide technical support and travel to project sites when required.
