Job summary

RONGSHENG HIGH TECH MALAYSIA SDN BHD is seeking an IT maintenance engineer who can travel to data centers and customer sites for break-fix and projects. The role requires coordination with teams to meet SLA requirements, following server maintenance guides and SOPs, and effective communication with onsite engineers and management.

The candidate should be willing to travel overseas when required, work on shifts, and handle urgent matters while collaborating with internal departments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in IT-related industries.
• Proficient in Mandarin and English with good communication.
• Willing to travel and start immediately.

Responsibilities

• Willing to travel and onsite to Data center/customer sites for break fix and projects.
• Willing to travel overseas to work.
• Coordinate actively with team members in meeting all Service Level Agreement required by client.
• Follow server’s maintenance guide and work follows all maintenance SOP rules and regulation.
• Communicate with onsite engineers and company’s management level.
• Be flexible and ready to be activated by any urgent matters.
• Work closely with internal departments.
• Handle and ensure the processing of all arrangements with accuracy and timeliness.
• Willing to work on shift and standby.
• Basic IT project management, like servers and network equipment installation.
• Stocks management for parts and equipment.
• Able to work under pressure.

Requirements

• Basic Linux commands.
• Minimum 1 year of experience working in IT-related industries.
• Can start work immediately or at a short notice is an added advantage.
• Meticulous and Good communication skills, English and Mandarin specific. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Possess strong inter-personal and communication skills and be able to work well with people at all levels in the organization.
• Possess server maintenance engineer experience is an added advantage.
• Able to work shift duties.
• Trainings will be provided.
• Must have driving license and vehicle to work.
