Job summary

Visco Technology Sdn Bhd is recruiting an IT/Network Administrator to safeguard the company’s computer systems and data while planning, implementing, and maintaining LAN, network, and server environments in a manufacturing setting. The role covers Microsoft software deployment, e‑mail system upkeep, and Paperless office initiatives.

The successful candidate will hold a Diploma/Degree in IT or CS, with Mandarin communication skills and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Possess at least Diploma/Degree or above in related IT or computer science field.
• Preferably at least 1 year experience in related work experience or IT function field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin.
• Preferable knowledge in IT computer hardware & Network requirements.
• Preferable knowledge in Hardware and software systems upgrade policy.
• Preferable knowledge in production environment is an added value.

Responsibilities

• Protect company computer system and electronic data from unauthorized use, malicious programs and theft.
• Responsible for LAN and infrastructure planning and maintenance.
• Responsible for network management and maintenance.
• Responsible for server maintenance and management planning.
• Responsible for Microsoft software and implementation of standardized set.
• Planning and implementation of Paperless office (E-commerce).
• Responsible for maintenance and management of e-mail system.
• Oversee documentation of IT policies and procedures.
• Responsible for server room maintenance management.
• Application of software patch updates and antivirus updates.
• Hardware computer and server maintenance; disable unneeded network services.
• Protect personal information.
• Daily system database data storage.
