Job summary

TAR UMT is seeking an IT Generalist to install, configure, and maintain computer systems across campus. The role also covers troubleshooting hardware/software issues, basic network connectivity, AV equipment, and documenting SOPs.

You will collaborate with other IT teams to ensure smooth operations and system reliability. Ideal candidates hold a recognised degree in CS/IT, 1–2 years of IT experience, and demonstrate analytical, problem-solving, and independent working abilities while staying

Qualifications

• Recognised Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of relevant IT experience preferred.
• Resourceful and self-motivated.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to keep abreast with technology changes.
• Able to work independently and be part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems.
• Troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Troubleshooting basic network connectivity issues.
• Setting up, operating, and troubleshooting AV equipment.
• Maintaining system documentation, including SOPs.
• Collaborating with other IT teams to ensure smooth system operations.
