Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a hands-on IT Technician to join our team. This role is primarily focused on IT hardware, equipment setup, troubleshooting and technical support.

You will install, set up and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers and other IT equipment; diagnose hardware issues; perform replacements, upgrades and basic repairs.

The position requires basic networking knowledge (LAN, Wi‑Fi, cabling) and the ability to travel between company locations when required.

Qualifications

• Min 1 year experience in IT hardware or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware and troubleshooting.
• Basic networking, LAN, Wi-Fi and cabling knowledge.
• Able to assemble, upgrade and repair desktops.
• Fresh graduates with strong hardware knowledge are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Install, set up and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers and other IT equipment

Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues, including PC components, RAM, hard disks/SSD, power supply, monitors and peripherals

Perform hardware replacement, upgrading and basic repair

Set up and troubleshoot network equipment, LAN connections, Wi-Fi and cabling

Assist with installation and maintenance of CCTV, access control and other IT-related equipment

Provide on-site technical support to users and resolve basic IT issues

Conduct regular checking and maintenance of IT equipment

Requirements

Min 1 year experience required.
