JOINTHIRE SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. in Malaysia seeks an IT Senior Executive/Assistant Manager (Manufacturing System Design) to lead IT strategy and oversee system design for manufacturing.
You will manage IT infrastructure, develop and deploy .NET applications, strengthen cybersecurity, and ensure compliance across offices, with expectations of 3–5 years of software development experience and ability to work independently in a manufacturing environment.

Job Description
Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, infrastructure improvements, and technology initiatives aligned with business needs
Manage IT infrastructure including servers, networks, computers, hardware, and software to ensure reliability and minimal downtime
Design, develop, test, maintain, and deploy software and applications using .NET programming languages to meet business objectives
Develop and maintain cybersecurity measures including network security, antivirus, firewalls, email protection, backups, and disaster recovery
Establish IT policies, controls, and documentation to support governance, compliance, and audit requirements
Maintain records of IT assets, licenses, subscriptions, and maintenance contracts
Manage IT onboarding and offboarding processes including system access and hardware setup
Configure and maintain laptops, desktops, printers, and other IT peripherals
Troubleshoot network incidents and prepare operations reports (daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly)
Provide guidance on IT security best practices and carry out IT-related projects as assigned
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:35pm
Required to provide after-hours standby support or ad-hoc weekend support for unforeseen issues or month-end reporting when necessary (overtime pay provided)
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
3-5 years proven experience in software development and application maintenance using .NET programming languages
Practical knowledge of Windows 10/11, Windows Server, Linux, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi-Fi)
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage end-to-end IT operations
Able to support on after-hours standby and weekend when necessary (overtime pay provided)
