Beecruit Pte. Ltd. is seeking an IT Assistant Manager / Senior IT Engineer to lead Dynamics 365 Business Central, infrastructure, cybersecurity and Power BI reporting for a Johor manufacturing facility.

Role combines hands-on IT support with ERP and data analytics in an on-site environment. The position offers growth into Assistant Manager or Senior Engineer level, reporting to site leadership and collaborating with Group IT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in IT
• 5+ years of relevant IT experience

• Proficient in Power BI, DAX, Power Query and SQL

About the Role

Our client, an established precision engineering and manufacturing company based in Singapore, is looking for an experienced IT professional to support the setup and ongoing operations of its manufacturing facility in Johor.

Reporting to the Site General Manager and working closely with the Group IT team, you will oversee IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Power BI reporting and end-user support.

The appointment may be offered at Assistant Manager or Senior Engineer level, depending on the candidate’s experience.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure and IT Operations

• Support the IT setup and systems implementation for the manufacturing facility
• Manage and maintain servers, networks, firewalls, switches, VPNs and storage systems
• Administer Microsoft 365, Azure services, Windows Server, Active Directory and user-access controls
• Monitor system performance, availability and security, resolving technical issues promptly
• Manage cybersecurity controls, endpoint protection, data backups and disaster-recovery procedures
• Provide hands-on technical support and troubleshooting for employees
• Oversee the setup, maintenance and replacement of computers, printers and other IT equipment
• Maintain accurate records of IT assets, licences, system configurations and operating procedures

ERP and Business Systems

• Administer and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Provide Business Central training and guidance to end users
• Troubleshoot ERP issues and coordinate system enhancements with users, vendors and Group IT
• Work with department heads to understand operational requirements and improve business workflows
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve system efficiency
• Maintain reliable data integration between Business Central, third-party applications and the data warehouse
• Ensure system data remains accurate, secure and consistent

Data Analytics and Reporting

• Design, develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and management reports
• Develop data models using Power BI, DAX, Power Query and SQL
• Translate business requirements into practical reports and actionable insights
• Maintain reporting accuracy and resolve data-quality or integration issues
• Support management and departmental decision-making through timely data analysis

Project and Vendor Management

• Coordinate IT projects, including infrastructure upgrades, system implementations and process improvements
• Manage external IT vendors, managed service providers, software providers and hardware suppliers
• Monitor vendor performance, project timelines and service-level commitments
• Assist with annual IT budget planning and track technology-related expenditure
• Evaluate IT solutions and recommend improvements based on operational requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
• At least 5 years of relevant IT experience
• Hands-on experience administering and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Strong proficiency in Power BI, DAX, Power Query and SQL
• Sound knowledge of Windows Server, Azure, Active Directory and Microsoft 365 administration
• Strong understanding of networks, firewalls, switches, VPNs and endpoint security
• Experience with backup and disaster-recovery solutions such as Veeam or Azure Backup
• Experience working with external vendors and coordinating IT projects
• Able to provide both strategic input and hands-on technical support
• Strong troubleshooting, communication and stakeholder-management skills
• Able to work independently in an on-site manufacturing environment
