Job summary

TRANSFORM INFORMATION (M) SDN. BHD. in Penang is seeking a proactive sales professional to drive IT software, mobile apps and tech hardware solutions. You will identify opportunities, present tailored IT offerings, and close deals to meet targets.

The role requires 1+ years in IT or B2B sales, strong communication, and the ability to speak English, Malay and Mandarin. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and travel for client meetings as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of sales experience in IT, software, or B2B sales is a plus; fresh grads with a passion for tech welcome.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prospect new business opportunities within the IT networks, systems administration and Mobile App market
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
• Present and demonstrate IT solutions and services to potential clients, tailoring offerings to meet their specific business needs
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and quotations to prospective customers
• Negotiate contracts and close sales deals to achieve or exceed sales targets
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless implementation and support of sold solutions
• Track and report on sales activities, pipeline progress, and revenue forecasts
• Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to generate leads and build business relationships
• Maintain detailed records of client interactions and sales activities in the company CRM system
• Work towards achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and KPIs

• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking solutions, and systems administration services
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients at all levels
• Demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and quotas
• Ability to identify client needs and develop tailored solutions that deliver value
• Strong negotiation and closing skills with a consultative sales approach
• Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales management tools
• Self-motivated and results-oriented with excellent time management skills
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• Willingness to travel for client meetings and business development activities when required
• Preferred: Relevant IT certifications or qualifications in sales or technical disciplines
