Job summary

MR D.I.Y. invites a seasoned IT Operations Manager to lead day-to-day IT infrastructure, network systems, service desk operations, and security across its Malaysia stores and offices.

You will coordinate internal IT teams, vendors, and business users to keep services stable, secure, and available. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 5-8 years of relevant IT infrastructure, network, system administration, or IT operations experience.
• At least 2 years of experience supervising an IT technical or support team.
• Experience supporting multi-site business operations is preferred.
• Experience in retail, warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or corporate environments is an advantage.
• Experience coordinating vendors, infrastructure projects, and critical incident recovery is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists the IT Operations Manager in day-to-day management of IT infrastructure, networks, systems, and service desk operations.
• Monitor system availability, performance, capacity and security to ensure reliable IT services.
• Coordinate incident resolution and ensure issues are escalated and resolved within SLAs.
• Review recurring incidents and implement preventive and corrective actions.
• Supervise infrastructure, network, system administration, and service desk personnel.
• Coordinate planned maintenance and minimise operational disruption.
• Support vendor coordination for maintenance, procurement, and project implementation.
• Prepare regular reports on incidents, SLAs, availability, and risks.
