Job summary

Flex is seeking an Analyst, IT Operations to manage operational processes ensuring IT services, systems, and infrastructure meet business needs. The role includes incident monitoring, capacity planning, patch management, and automation of IT Ops tasks.

Based in Malaysia, you will work with cross-functional teams to maintain SLAs, implement improvements, and support disaster recovery planning as part of a dynamic hybrid cloud environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and training.
• 3-5 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of multiple functional technologies and interdependencies.
• Demonstrates project management skills.
• Collaboration skills and passion for technical challenges.

Responsibilities

• Prepare SOPs for day-to-day maintenance of applications and systems.
• Proactively monitor enterprise systems to meet dynamic requirements.
• Ensure backups and retention policies to minimize data loss.
• Establish clear communication with customers, peers and cross-functional teams.
• Propose system enhancements to improve performance and reliability.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and performance requirements.
• Ensure applications are performing, scalable, usable, and available with SLAs.
• Research, design, code, and test new systems and enhancements.
• Install, configure, administer, and maintain business apps and hardware.
• Gather requirements with teams and coordinate system implementation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve user problems quickly and satisfactorily.
• Perform change management and publish performance metrics.
• Ensure data integrity and security across Hybrid Cloud environments.
