Jora Malaysia is offering a full-time IT internship spanning end-user support, POS hardware and software, and infrastructure tasks across HQ, stores and warehouse. You will assist with desktop, network and AV setups, and gain exposure to enterprise apps while completing a 3–6 month internship.
Ideally pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Bachelor’s in IT/CS, with basics in Windows, networking and Microsoft 365. Willingness to travel to stores and weekends in some cases is expected.

Provide first-level support for POS terminals, peripherals (printers, scanners, cash drawers) and store connectivity; escape unresolved issues to the relevant team.
Assist with POS setup, configuration checks and testing for new stores, relocations and renovations.
Monitor daily store IT checks (POS availability, network, end-of-day processing) and follow up on exceptions.
Support HQ users on desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, email and Microsoft 365 applications.
Help resolve IT ticket backlogs and ensure tickets are updated and closed within agreed response times.
Assist with meeting room, video conferencing and basic AV setup.
Assist the Infrastructure Executive with routine upkeep of network, Wi-Fi, servers, CCTV and connectivity across HQ, stores and warehouse.
Support hardware lifecycle activities: asset tagging, inventory records, imaging, deployment, collection and disposal documentation.
Assist with user account administration, access requests and device onboarding/offboarding under supervision.
Help perform routine checks on backups, patching status and endpoint protection, and report exceptions promptly.
Support digital initiatives assigned by the IT Manager, including requirement gathering, testing, simple automation and user training.
Assist with Microsoft 365 and SharePoint housekeeping, including site content, permissions review and form or workflow testing.
Prepare and maintain IT documentation, user guides and knowledge base articles.
Follow IT security, data protection and confidentiality policies at all times, and report suspected security incidents immediately.
Handle company data, user accounts and equipment responsibly and in line with company standards.
Gain hands‑on exposure to enterprise applications, POS back-end systems and IT service management tools.
Participate in team meetings, project discussions and cross-functional collaboration.
Continuously build technical and troubleshooting skills with guidance from the IT team.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
Basic understanding of Windows desktops, networking fundamentals and IT hardware.
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
Good communication skills in English and Malay; able to explain technical matters to non‑technical users.
Service-oriented, adaptable, eager to learn, and able to work both independently and in a team.
Willing to travel to stores and warehouse locations as required; own transport is an advantage.
Willing to provide occasional support outside normal office hours during store openings, system cutovers or critical incidents.
Minimum internship period of three (3) to six (6) months, full-time.
