Job summary

WD in Malaysia is seeking an IT Support professional to manage the lifecycle of computer infrastructure. The role involves installing and configuring hardware, software, systems, and networks, plus ongoing monitoring and maintenance to ensure reliable IT operations.

Support is delivered via remote assistance and on-site troubleshooting. Candidates should hold a Diploma in CS/IT, be prepared for shift work, and may have 1–2 years of related experience; manufacturing exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma in CS/IT or equivalent.
• Shift work is required.
• 1–2 years of related experience preferred; entry-level acceptable.
• Manufacturing industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and peripherals.
• Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
• Respond in a timely manner to service issues and requests.
• Provide technical support for computing scope by phone or on-site.
• Repair and replace computer hardware as necessary.
