Job summary

Western Digital Corporation is seeking a candidate for a full-time Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance role in Malaysia. The position involves a 12-hour shift, performing preventive maintenance, and acting as the first line of defense for unscheduled downtime or quality issues.

You will collaborate with multiple departments to improve operational efficiency and apply in-depth automation/control system knowledge.

Qualifications

• Diploma in any Engineering.
• Fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
• Working experience not more than 5 years encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform Machines Preventive Maintenance and upkeep maintenance record.
• First line of defence to attend machines un-schedule down or quality issue.
• Communicate with different departments for collaboration for operational efficiency.
• In-depth knowledge with Automation/Control System.
• Able to handle sudden changes and pressure to bring up machine in short notice.
• Capable to elaborate and provide feedback on major equipment down times. Chronological events and actions taken.
• Statistical Process Control knowledge is an added advantage.
