Job Description: As an IT professional at Mestari Adjusters, you will play a key role in providing technical support to our employees and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems. You will troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues, while also assisting with ad-hoc tasks as needed. This role requires occasional travel to branch offices, so a valid driving license and access to a car are essential. Due to the nature of the job as IT Infrastructure Support, you will be required to return to the office outside of regular working hours on a scheduled or ad-hoc basis as needed.
Role Focus Areas:
Senior Level: Primarily focus on server administration, hypervisor server management, firewall setup, and network infrastructure.
Junior Level: Primarily focus on desktop support and network maintenance.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for PC/laptop hardware and software issues (Junior).
Manage and maintain server infrastructure, including hypervisor servers (Senior).
Configure, manage, and troubleshoot firewalls and network-related problems (Senior/General).
Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment.
Support branch offices by traveling to their locations as needed.
Handle ad-hoc IT tasks and projects as assigned by the IT Manager.
Document and track support requests using our ticketing system.
Ensure timely resolution of issues to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with the IT team to improve systems and processes.
Requirements:
Diploma or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Basic knowledge of PC/laptop hardware, software, and networking (Junior); strong background in server management, hypervisors, firewall configuration, and networking (Senior).
Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Valid driving license and access to a car (required for occasional travel).
Flexibility to work outside normal hours on a scheduled or ad-hoc basis for urgent IT support.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to take on ad-hoc tasks and support branch offices as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in IT support or a related role (relevant experience scaling with seniority).
Familiarity with Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and basic networking concepts.
Basic understanding of Active Directory and user account management.
