Job summary

Fujitec (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is recruiting an Information Technology Executive to ensure full IT system functionality and implement security measures. You will plan and coordinate security roadmaps, install and troubleshoot hardware and software, and provide end-user support across HQ and branch offices.

You will maintain server backups, liaise with vendors for maintenance, monitor endpoint protection, and enforce USB and BitLocker security policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in day-to-day IT operations and security planning.
• Experience with backups and disaster recovery processes.
• Familiarity with encryption, USB control and endpoint security measures.
• Willingness to provide weekend support when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day operational duties to ensure full functionality of IT systems.
• Plan, coordinate and implement IT security protections according to roadmap.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot IT hardware and software.
• Provide end-user support onsite and remote for HQ and branches.
• Maintain backups on all servers and perform restores when required.
• Liaise with vendors for purchase, repair and maintenance of IT equipment.
• Monitor ManageEngine Endpoint, apply patches and update PCs/laptops.
• Control USB drive usage and enforce encryption on USB devices.
• Manage BitLocker keys and recovery processes.
• Review and update IT policy and procedures periodically.
• Inventory hardware and software, and document changes.
• Identify areas for process improvements and collaborate with departments.
• Able to support on weekends when necessary.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job description

Perform day-to-day operational duties to ensure full functionality of all IT systems

To plan, coordinate and implement company IT’s security protection in accordance with strategy’s roadmap.

To install, configuration and troubleshooting for all IT matters including hardware and software.

To provide support for end user (HQ and branches) through onsite and remote.

To ensure smooth and efficient running of all IT systems (PC hardware, operation system, firewall,printer,antivirus, emails, networking and etc.)

Maintain daily backups on All Servers and restore when required.

Responsible to liaise with vendors for the purchase, repair and maintenance of IT equipment.

Responsible to ManageEngine Endpoint, daily monitor patches, and update the user's PC or laptop from time to time.

To monitor the removal of the USB drive, give permission to the users when they require to use the USB drive (pen drive), and create encryption on all the USB drives that are brought out of the office.

Manage and monitor the BitLocker management and general recovery key when required.

Periodically review and update on IT policy and procedures.

Hardware and software inventory tracking and documentation.

Ability to identify areas of improvement and to develop and implement process improvement with departments.

Able to support on weekend when required.

Other responsibilities as assigned by superior from time to time.
