Job summary

ISPIRE MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. invites applications for an IT Technician/Executive to provide technical support across computer systems, software, hardware, ERP and MES environments in Kulai, Johor.

You will diagnose and troubleshoot issues, assist with network connectivity, perform maintenance and upgrades, train users, and help protect data and security across the IT landscape.

Qualifications

Minimum Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in information Technology / Computer Science or any field.
Proven experience as IT Technician, IT Executive, or in a similar role.
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office applications.
Strong knowledge of computer system, hardware and software applications, and IT infrastructure.
Familiarity with network protocols and troubleshooting.
Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience in ERP systems and/or MES will be an added advantage.
Basic knowledge of database management, system integration, and data migration will be an added advantage.
Familiarity with manufacturing environments and production systems will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

To provide Technical Support and assistance for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, hardware, ERP systems, MES (Manufacturing Execution System).
To diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including network connectivity problems.
Hardware and Software Maintenance - Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, printers, MES terminals, barcode scanners, and other hardware devices.
Network Administration – Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of network infrastructure.
User training - Conduct training sessions for end-users on the use of hardware, software, ERP systems, MES and other IT resources.
Security and Data Protection - Implement and maintain security measures to protect computer systems, ERP systems, MES, networks, and company data.
System Upgrades and Migration - Plan and execute system upgrades, including operating systems, software applications, ERP systems and MES enhancements.
ERP System Support – Assist in the administration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of the Company's ERP system.
MES System Support – Support the implementation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancement of the MES.
System Integration and Digitalization – Support system integration between ERP, MES, and other business applications.
Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management from time to time.

Job description

To provide Technical Support and assistance for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, hardware, ERP systems, MES (Manufacturing Execution System). To diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including network connectivity problems.

Key responsibilities

Hardware and Software Maintenance - Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, printers, MES terminals, barcode scanners, and other hardware devices. Install and upgrade software applications, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance.

Network Administration – Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of network infrastructure. Troubleshoot and resolve network issues including connectivity problems and security concerns.

User training - Conduct training sessions for end-users on the use of hardware, software, ERP systems, MES and other IT resources. Create documentation and manuals to assist users in resolving common issues independently

Security and Data Protection - Implement and maintain security measures to protect computer systems, ERP systems, MES, networks, and company data.

System Upgrades and Migration - Plan and execute system upgrades, including operating systems, software applications, ERP systems and MES enhancements. Assist in data migration projects and ensure seamless transitions.

ERP System Support – Assist in the administration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of the Company's ERP system. Coordinate with system vendors and internal departments to resolve ERP-related issues and support business operations.

MES System Support – Support the implementation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancement of the Manufacturing Execution System (MES). Ensure smooth operation of production-related system transactions, machine connectivity, traceability records, and production data collection.

System Integration and Digitalization – Support system integration between ERP, MES, and other business applications. Assist in process automation, digitalization initiatives, and continuous improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency and data accuracy.

Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management from time to time.

About you
