Job summary

Private Advertiser in Malaysia is seeking an experienced IT professional to assist in planning, implementing and maintaining IT systems, infrastructure and hardware across the organisation. The role provides technical support and guidance to IT staff and end users, ensuring swift resolution of technology-related issues.

You will monitor IT security, coordinate with team members to diagnose problems, support IT policies and documentation, assist in budgeting and procurement, and conduct system

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
• 3–5 years in IT support/IT operations.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, servers and system administration.
• Experience with help desk software and ITSM tools.
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Understanding of cybersecurity, data protection and IT compliance.
• Excellent problem-solving and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Leadership qualities to motivate and support a team.
• Relevant IT certifications desirable (CompTIA A+/Network+/Security+ or Microsoft).
• Experience in manufacturing or assembly environments is preferred.

What we're looking for

Experience with help desk software, ticketing systems and IT service management tools

Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems

Understanding of cybersecurity principles, data protection and IT compliance requirements

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users

Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and support a team
