Job summary

SONGYUAN AUTOMOTIVE SAFETY SYSTEMS (MALAYSIA) Sdn Bhd is seeking a capable IT support technician to provide first-level support across hardware, software, and network issues. You will maintain OT systems interfacing with production machinery and help manage accounts and access permissions.

The role involves installing and configuring laptops, desktops, printers, and peripherals, plus assisting onboarding and offboarding, with escalation to vendors as needed.

Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.

Maintain and monitor Operational Technology systems that interface with production machinery.

Manage and troubleshoot MES, ERP & WMS software.

Install, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, printers, and peripherals.

Manage user accounts, access rights, and system permissions

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows, MS Office, email, VPN, and remote access.

Support and maintain LAN, Wi‑Fi, and basic network configurations.

Assist in IT asset inventory management and documentation.

Monitor system performance and report potential risks or vulnerabilities.

Support onboarding/offboarding processes (device setup, user credential creation).

Escalate complex technical problems to higher-level support or vendors as needed.
