Job summary

SH Cogent Logistics is seeking an IT Support Specialist with a Bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT, CS, or related field and at least 2 years of experience. You will manage change requests, maintain IT infrastructure, and provide first-line support to users.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and the ability to work independently to meet deadlines while ensuring systems’ security and performance.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of working experience in the related field.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage new change requests on external maintained systems from scope definition to implementation.
• Maintain IT infrastructure (laptops, monitors, IT equipment) in good order.
• Assist with installation, configuration and testing of new hardware and software.
• Ensure company systems and networks are protected against threats.
• Provide first-line support to users for application-related requests.
• Understand database structure and data contents of various applications.
• Access databases to run queries, investigations, and data extraction.
• Meet project/department milestones within approved budgets and timelines.
• Communicate with relevant parties to ensure on-time delivery within budget.
• Oversee performance, availability and scalability of applications.
• Provide IT solutions aligned to business objectives.
• Ensure tasks are completed on time and to standards.

2. 2. Maintain, keep track and ensure IT infrastructure are in good order (laptop, monitors, IT equipment).

4. 4. Ensure company system and network are protected against any threat.
5. 5. Responsible to provide first line support to users on all application related requests/enquiries.
6. 6. Understand and familiar with database structure and data contents of various applications.
7. 7. Able to access database and perform necessary actions (query, extraction, investigation) to support the operations.
8. 8. Ensure project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.
9. 9. Follow-up and communicate effectively with relevant parties to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget.
10. 10. Responsible for performance, availability and scalability of the various applications.
11. 11. Provide IT solutions to meet the business need that is aligned to the Company’s strategic business objective.
12. 12. Ensures assign tasks and assignment are completed satisfactorily on time, and in compliance with proposal and established standards.
13. 13. Any other tasks assigned to you from time to time.
