Job description

The Head of IT is accountable for the overall leadership, governance, strategy and performance of Information Technology for the organization. The role is responsible for developing and implementing IT strategy and technology roadmap in alignment with the Company's business strategy, operational requirements and the Regional/Group technology direction. The Head of IT ensures that technology environment is secure, resilient, fit for purpose, cost-effective and capable of supporting the Company's operations and/or corporate functions.

Key responsibilities

Provide functional leadership and governance oversight across IT strategy, architecture, cybersecurity, infrastructure, applications, IT service management, data and technology risk

Ensure that technology investments and initiatives are supported by appropriate business justification, governance approvals, risk assessment, testing, change management and post-implementation assurance

Establish a culture of secure-by-design, controlled change, service excellence, accountability and continuous improvement across the IT function

Strong knowledge of enterprise IT strategy, architecture, infrastructure, applications e.g. SAP, and IT service management

Strong understanding of cybersecurity, information security, access management and technology risk

Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills

Ability to communicate complex technology matters clearly to senior management and non-technical stakeholders

Strong leadership, people development and change management capability

Proven track record of leading enterprise IT strategy, digital transformation, infrastructure modernization, cybersecurity, and technology operations to deliver measurable business outcomes

Willing to travel as and when required

Candidates with less experience but demonstrate strong potential and relevant skills and capabilities will also be considered for middle management role
