Job summary

WCT Land in Malaysia seeks an IT Infrastructure Specialist to assist in the implementation and maintenance of network infrastructure and IT-related projects. You will install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot hardware, software, servers, and peripherals, while monitoring daily backups and ensuring data integrity.

The role requires 3+ years in IT infrastructure or system support, with knowledge of Windows Server, AD, M365, and network admin. Fresh graduates with internships are welcome.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in IT infrastructure or system support. Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, network administration, backup solutions and hardware troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of network infrastructure and IT-related projects.
• Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot computer hardware, software, servers and peripheral devices.
• Perform and monitor daily backup operations to ensure all file systems and critical system data are successfully backed up.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end users for hardware, software, network and application-related issues.
• Support and maintain LAN/WAN, wireless networks, VPNs and other network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot application system issues and coordinate with vendors or developers when necessary.
• Monitor server health, system performance and IT security to ensure business continuity.
• Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets, system configurations, backup logs and technical procedures.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the IT Manager or Management from time to time.
