We are seeking an IT Executive to support the implementation, maintenance, integration, and continuous improvement of the company’s manufacturing ERP system and related business applications. The successful candidate will work closely with the internal IT team, ERP vendor, management, and users from various departments. The candidate will gradually develop a strong understanding of the ERP database structure, business processes, system logic, and integrations, with the long-term objective of becoming one of the company’s internal ERP system specialists.
The position offered will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, technical knowledge, and ability to manage system responsibilities independently.
What you'll be doing
- Support the implementation, testing, deployment, maintenance, and daily operation of the company’s ERP system.
- Work with the ERP vendor to understand the FileMaker system structure, database relationships, scripts, calculations, workflows, security, and integrations.
- Gather feedback and analyse system requirements from Production, Planning, Store, Purchasing, Sales, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and other departments.
- Develop, modify, and maintain FileMaker layouts, scripts, calculations, reports, dashboards, and automated workflows for future requirements.
- Translate business requirements into practical system solutions and improvement proposals.
- Support ERP system administration and users, including account access, permissions, backups, issue tracking, data checking, system validation, and user acceptance testing.
- Assist with data extraction, migration, cleansing, import, export, reconciliation, and reporting using FileMaker, SQL databases, and other business systems.
- Monitor and troubleshoot application, database, data integration, system performance, and user-related issues.
- Support integration with accounting systems, external databases, barcode or QR-code solutions, machines, and other business applications.
- Provide user training and maintain user manuals, system documentation, process flows, integration mappings, issue logs, and change records.
- Support future ERP enhancements, new modules, integrations, and business expansion.
- Perform other IT application and system-related duties assigned.
- Gradually take ownership of the ERP system and support future enhancements, new modules, and business expansion.
What we're looking for
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates and candidates with relevant experience (3 - 5 years) in ERP systems, application support, database development, system implementation, or system integration are encouraged to apply.
- Basic to strong understanding of relational databases, SQL queries, system workflows, data integrity, and user access controls.
- Knowledge or experience in application development, scripting, reporting, system testing, data migration, and troubleshooting.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
- Able to communicate with users, understand operational requirements, and coordinate with vendors and technical teams.
- Willing to learn manufacturing processes and develop long-term knowledge of the company’s ERP environment.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
