Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a dedicated ERP Support Engineer to provide functional and technical support for the Epicor ERP system across all business lines. This role reports to the ERP IT Manager and collaborates with manufacturing, finance, operations, and supply chain teams.

You will resolve ERP issues, assist with upgrades, document user requirements, develop training material, and help drive process improvements using ERP capabilities. Open to extra hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience supporting an ERP or business application.
• Experience with Epicor Kinetic (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support for Epicor ERP users, resolving functional issues and ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Act as a liaison between end users and technical teams to troubleshoot system problems and identify root causes.
• Support Epicor modules such as production, planning, inventory, purchasing, finance, and quality.
• Assist with testing and deploying ERP changes, upgrades, and patches.
• Gather and document user requirements for system enhancements or configuration changes and help implement changes.
• Support ERP IT Manager with system configuration, data analysis, and user access management.
• Develop and maintain training documentation and user guides; conduct training sessions as needed.
• Help ensure data integrity and accuracy within the ERP system.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement using ERP capabilities.
• Escalate complex technical issues to ERP vendors or internal development teams as necessary.

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented ERP Support Engineer to provide functional and technical support for our Epicor ERP system across all business lines. This engineer plays a critical role in resolving ERP-related issues, assisting with system enhancements, and serving as a liaison between end users and the IT ERP team. The ERP Support Engineer will report directly to the ERP IT Manager and collaborate with departments across manufacturing, finance, operations, and supply chain. The ideal candidate is eager to learn and absorb knowledge from our senior team members.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience supporting an ERP or business application.
• Familiarity with business processes in manufacturing, inventory, purchasing, or finance.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical users.
• Experience with Epicor Kinetic (preferred but not required).
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Open to work additional hours as needed.
