Job summary

APPFUXION CONSULTING SDN. BHD. is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to collaborate with stakeholders, elicit requirements, and translate them into actionable user stories for development teams.

The role emphasizes agile practices, strong communication, and a focus on fintech/insurance verticals. You will mentor junior analysts and stay abreast of industry trends while enabling effective change management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a software development or Agile environment.
• Proficiency in writing user stories, use cases, and process flows.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non- technical stakeholders.
• Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Trello).
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with software development concepts and workflows.
• Experience with wireframing tools (e.g., Figma).
• Basic knowledge of databases or APIs.
• Domain knowledge in Fintech or Insurance will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, scope, pain points, and goals.
• Elicit, document, and validate business and functional requirements through assessments, workshops, interviews, user stories, and process analysis.
• Translate business requirements into detailed, concise, and actionable user stories or specifications for the development team.
• Work closely with developers, QA, UI/UX, solution architects, and specialized teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Support testing activities by helping define test cases, performing UAT, and validating deliverables meet business expectations.
• Assist in change management and training materials preparation.
• Serve as a liaison between business units and the development team to ensure alignment and communication.
• Coordinate with clients for change requests, post-support, or maintenance services.
• Champion business analysis best practices and mentor junior analysts.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes.
• Act as a domain expert, often specializing in finance, healthcare, retail, or other verticals.
• Continuously evaluate business processes to recommend improvements or enhancements.
• Propose innovative solutions blending business strategy with technology.

Requirements:
