Job summary

AIA Digital+ in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a capable Business Analyst to drive requirements gathering, documentation, and user-story development for digital initiatives. You will work with Business users and IT teams to ensure alignment between needs and system deliverables.

The role involves conducting process reviews, creating BRD/FRD, and ensuring traceability from discovery to delivery in an Agile environment. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree holder (Computer Science/IT or Business) with minimum CGPA 3.
• 3.3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
• Familiar with Scrum ceremonies and Agile/Scrum environments.
• Proven ability to elicit, analyse, document, and validate business requirements (BRD/FRD, user stories, acceptance criteria).
• Ability to create process flows and documentation (BPMN/Visio/Flow charts).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication, including facilitation and presentation.
• Proficiency with Jira/Confluence (or equivalents).

Job description

According to the business changes and needs, provide a proper system functional solution with estimation by assessing and analyzing those changes, capture and document requirements as functional specification, support the communication and delivery of these requirements with relevant parties and conduct system briefing and user training while needed. Produce BRD (business requirement document) for project at small scale, lead user interface (UI) design, write testing plan and conduct testing to ensure system implementation/ enhancement is meeting business needs.

• sConduct business walk-through with Business users (AIA Hong Kong) to develop business initiatives or requirements, seek clarification, identify initiatives correlation, and provide initial process and systems impact analysis and resource need
• sConduct workflow process review, identify process gaps, and implement process improvement initiatives with Business users in AIA Hong Kong
• .Manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring proper documentation, traceability, and alignment between business needs and system deliverables
• .Collect, understand, analyze, and develop the User Story (Jira) and the business workflow process, review with the business users and to seek concurrence and acceptance
• .Work closely with IT Developer and Testers based in China on system risk assessment to ensure system delivery meet the timeline after assigned by Project Manager
