Job summary

Jora Malaysia seeks an experienced IT/Network professional to implement, manage and troubleshoot network devices across outlets, including wireless APs, firewalls, routers and switches, ensuring high availability during operations.

You will monitor performance, manage IT assets, install hardware/software, and provide first-line helpdesk support onsite. Travel to outlets with your own vehicle is required, and Mandarin/English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• IT degree or diploma with IT specialization.
• At least 3 years of relevant IT/network experience.
• Mandarin and English language proficiency for client communication.
• Ability to create network diagrams and documentation.
• Strong LAN/WAN and network security knowledge.
• Experience with VPN, SD-WAN, and MFA.
• Willingness to travel to outlets with own transport.

Responsibilities

• Implement, manage and troubleshoot network devices such as wireless APs, firewalls, routers, and switches.
• Monitor, test, and troubleshoot network performance to ensure optimal functionality.
• Manage IT and network assets, including updating inventories and documenting specs.
• Install and configure computer hardware and software.
• Provide first level IT and Network Helpdesk Support.
• Provide onsite IT support to outlets during business operations.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as requested by supervisor.
• Support standby (remote/onsite) for weekends and public holidays.
• Involve in vendor management for CCTV, Access Control, Alarm systems and IT.
• Perform basic CCTV administration.
• Travel to outlets as required; own vehicle preferred.

Implement, manage and troubleshoot network devices such as wireless access points, firewalls, routers, and switches.

Monitor, test, and troubleshoot network performance to ensure optimal functionality.

Manage IT and network assets, including maintaining asset updates, inventory and documenting technical specifications.

Install and configure computer hardware, software.

Provide first level IT and Network Helpdesk Support.

Provide onsite IT support to outlets during business operations .

Perform other ad-hoc tasks by superior from time-to-time.

Support standby ( remote / onsite ) for weekends and public holidays.

Involve in vendor management on maintenance services related with CCTV Systems, Access Control Systems, Alarm Systems and IT related.

Perform basic CCTV administration.

REQUIREMENTS:

Candidate must possess at least SPM / Diploma / Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with IT specialization.

At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Languages required : Mandarin and English to effectively communicate with Mandarin speaking clients.

Able to create network diagrams and documentation.

Good understanding and experience in LAN, WAN, and network security overall.

Familiar with Bandwidth and performance analysis tools (e.g. Netflow) and SNMP based NMS.

Familiar with VPN, SDWan and Site to site VPN with multi-factor authentication.

Require travel to the outlets and must possess own vehicle for transportation of IT equipment's when needed.
