Job summary

ITECH DATA SDN. BHD. in Selangor is seeking an IT Infrastructure/Network Engineer to install, configure and troubleshoot network devices and Windows servers. You will work on customer sites to deliver projects and provide technical support.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Bachelor’s in IT/CS/Networking with at least 1 year of relevant experience, and strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, routing, switching and firewall configuration. Documentation skills are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, or Network Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of working experience in IT Infrastructure or Network Engineering.
• Solid knowledge of TCP/IP networking, VLAN, routing & switching, VPN and firewall configuration.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and troubleshoot network infrastructure including switches, routers and firewalls.
• Deploy and maintain Windows Servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and file servers.
• Attend customer sites for project implementation, maintenance and technical support.
• Configure and support CCTV, access control and time attendance systems.
• Prepare technical documentation, project handover documents and reports.

Install, configure and troubleshoot network infrastructure including Switches, Routers, Firewalls and Wireless Access Points.

Deploy and maintain Windows Servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and File Server.

Install and configure network racks, patch panels and structured cabling (Cat5e/Cat6/Fiber Optic).

Perform installation, testing and troubleshooting of Fiber Optic networks.

Install, configure and maintain CCTV, Access Control and Time Attendance Systems.

Configure Firewall, VPN and network security solutions.

Install and maintain NAS, backup solutions and virtualization platforms.

Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance (CM) for IT infrastructure.

Install, configure and support desktop computers, laptops, printers and peripherals.

Troubleshoot hardware, software and network-related issues.

Prepare technical documentation, reports and project handover documents.

Attend customer sites for project implementation, maintenance and technical support.

Work closely with project managers and customers to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering or equivalent.

Minimum 1 year of working experience in IT Infrastructure or Network Engineering.
