Job summary

Singtel is seeking a Technical Manager to provide operational support and maintenance for the IP VPN backbone network in Malaysia. The role emphasizes high availability, service reliability, and collaboration with engineering teams to deliver enhanced network capabilities.

You will coordinate changes, perform provisioning, upgrade hardware, and support incident resolution while ensuring efficient service restoration and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of IP network operations or similar technical role.
• Experience with IP VPN networks, network operations, maintenance, incident management, and change implementation.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support and maintenance for the IP VPN backbone network to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Coordinate and perform change implementation, provisioning, and maintenance across Singtel POPs.
• Install, upgrade, and maintain routers, switches, and related hardware.
• Assist with upgrades, infrastructure enhancements, and network expansion initiatives.
• Handle incident management and service restoration to minimize customer impact.
• Participate in routine health checks and preventive maintenance at POP sites.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver new network capabilities and products.
• Prepare operational reports and documentation for management.
