Job summary

Singtel Group is seeking a Technical Manager to provide operational support and maintenance for the IP VPN backbone network, ensuring high availability, reliability, and service quality. You will coordinate changes, install upgrades, and collaborate with engineering teams to deliver new network capabilities with minimal disruption to customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• Minimum 5 years in IP network operations or telecom infrastructure.
• Experience with IP VPN networks, network operations, incident management and change implementation.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP routing protocols (OSPF/IS-IS/BGP) and MPLS/VPN.
• Familiarity with Cisco or Juniper devices and CCNA/CCNP/JNCIA/JNCIS certifications is a plus.
• Experience with scripting languages (Python/Shell/Perl) and network automation is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support IP VPN backbone network for high availability and reliability.
• Coordinate change implementation, provisioning, and maintenance across Singtel POPs.
• Install, replace, and upgrade routers, switches, and related hardware.
• Assist with hardware/software upgrades and infrastructure enhancements.
• Support customer circuit migrations and network expansion initiatives.
• Perform on-site fault isolation and troubleshooting to restore services quickly.
